This book was cute but I wouldn't recommend someone run out to get it!

Kırık Kalpler Tamircisi ilk olarak 2009'da çıkmış bir kitap, ama biz bu yıl,yani 2013'de Martı Yayınlarından okuyoruz kitabı. Zaman farkı kesinlikle fark edilmiyor zaten arada kaç yıl var ki :))

Kitabın yazarı Melissa Senate'nin ülkemizde çıkan ilk kitabı da değil aslında. 2012 yılında Aşk Tanrıça'sının Yemek Okulu adıyla daha çok sevilen bir kitabı gene Martı Yayınlarından çıkmış.

Yavaştan düşüncelerime girersek, kitabı ilk elime aldığımda pek seveceğimden, hatta hoşlanacağımdan emin değildim. Çik-lit okuyucu olarak görmüyorum kendimi. Ayrıca kitaptan nasıl bir şey beklemem gerektiğinden de bihaberdim. Nitekim kitaptan hem hoşlandım hem de gıcık oldum.

This is another book from the YA stack at my house. It's really more of a 3.5 star book, but it was an easy, enjoyable read. It could easily be made into one of those Lifetime movies...which I don't watch, but I'm sure you know what I mean.

Oh, boy. There's so much I could say about this but because I was so ready to love this like I loved [b:The Love Goddess' Cooking School|7960890|The Love Goddess' Cooking School|Melissa Senate|http://photo.goodreads.com/books/1327938502s/7960890.jpg|11815671] that I'm left mighty disappointed. To sum it up though, it was a bit predictable as far as final outcome, the main character was a big hot mess that you totally wanted to slap, and unnecessary relationship drama (including cheating). It had a promising start but really went downhill fast.

I had a really hard time getting into the story. I almost gave up but I'm glad I stuck with it because I ended up enjoying it.

Good enough.

Melissa Senate is a great author with a clean style of writing. My family and friends who had read this novel gave it rave reviews, and I certainly understand why. The main character was a woman with whom you could relate, but the supporting cast members were fabulous - the types of people you are fairly certain you'd be friends with in real life.
