This one is a neat way to see how everything in Narnia came to be. I liked it because it provided great backstory especially about things like the lampost.

Being familiar with the storyline of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe, The Magician's Nephew offered some interesting backstory to the beginnings of Narnia.

Few of the biggest questions of my almost 22 years have been answered.
How could I grow up on the films with so many questions left behind but never read the books to find out the answers?
But this doesn't change the fact that I wanted to DNF this like 77 times during, and it is a short book, so you can guess how boring it was.

The start of Narnia. Uncle Andrew manipulates Digory and Polly into exploring a new world. Digory wakes the White Witch-to-be, and accidentally brings her to Narnia which they watch Aslan create.

Having already been familiar with the story of "The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe," I found this prequel to be really interesting. In addition to being a quick read, it shed light on the magical world of Narnia itself, as well as provided background for the Professor and witch. Plus, you find out how the wardrobe itself became magical.
