So this was written after many of the Narnia books (despite being listed as first on the series) and is written as a prequel, rather than its own adventure.

This was a fun little story about the founding of Narnia (though it takes a while to get there!)

I knew I was going to like this book but I didn’t think I would love it. The writing of Narnia’s origins is beautiful. Diggory’s journey in Narnia is meaningful, heartbreaking, and heartwarming all at the same time. Would definitely recommend this book to others. ❤️

An interesting, fairytale read with weird twists and turns. Lacking in character development and world building but an easy enough read

I can't believe CS Lewis plagiarised the actual Bible
