Maggie is dating Trevor but is best friends with Sam. Lately Trevor seems to be distancing himself from Maggie and Maggie soon discovers why.
Sam is out in Colorado for a guys vacation but when he realizes what Maggie is going through he quickly books her on a plane to come out and see him.
Will Maggie and Sam finally see each other as more than just friends or will Maggie find herself back with Trevor?
This was such a good story with great characters!
I thought Maggie was great and I was surprised when she and Sam were talking about her relationship with Trevor and how open she was but then I wasn't surprised at all with what was revealed. I loved where she went to hide from him and thought it was the perfect spot!
Sam is like the ultimate dream guy!! I can't believe what he did for her - so awesome! My heart broke with the whole brother/sister thing!
Things totally started getting heated but then I was like oh no!!
The end was awesome and ended perfectly!

Cute novella but a little too sweet at times.

This is a super cute novella. Friends to lovers trope. Sam and Maggie have been best friends since college, and Sam has loved her for just as long. Sam and Maggie are absolutely adorable. This is a sweet, short novella with just the right amount of angst and chemistry.

This novella was the perfect cute and sweet friends to lovers story I was looking for! It's no secret that the friends to lovers trope is one of my very favorites, and Kendall Ryan did not disappoint! I loved the longing and angst between Sam and Maggie, as they each struggled with their desires and whether or not to tell the other and possibly ruin their friendship. I am a huge fan of that moment when the main characters finally figure out what everyone else around them has known all along - that they're perfect for each other.
Sam was such a wonderful hero. Even though he was more sure of his feelings, he has always been a friend to Maggie first, taking care of and supporting her through thick and thin. His vulnerability and thoughtfulness though were so swoony, that I found myself wishing that The Bed Mate was longer than a novella! The build up and sexual tension was delicious and I couldn't get enough of these two! The epilogue left me with a huge smile on my face and you really don't want to miss this sweet and sexy novella!

Another good book in the Roommates series - all of which can work as stand-alones. I liked the slow burn between the characters. And even though it was a little frustrating that they kept feeling like they were missing their chance, it made for a very satisfying ending.

Awww… this was such a sweet friends-to-lovers romance. This is one of my favorite tropes and Kendall Ryan did a remarkable job of bringing Sam and Maggie to life. They were always there for each other and enjoyed one heck of a beautiful friendship. Every up or down, every failed relationship, these two held each other up. It was obvious that they were meant for each other. They just needed to figure that out too. A short book gets a short review, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t more words to extol the virtues of this read. I simply don’t want to ruin it for you. The Bed Mate is cute and sweetly romantic and I urge you to one-click it today!
