Reviews with content warning for Sexual assault - Une fille facile

This book is an important one, as seen by the awards it's won. But the characters are so unlikeable. I know that's the point of the book, to showcase that no one deserves to be abused, regardless of how awful they are. But there was so much content that made me uncomfortable before the assault even happened, I couldn't stick it out.

This book infuriated me, probably because of the injustice of it all that Louise O’Neill meant to educate and display. A tough read that should be held with many trigger warnings and quite graphic but can be educational in rape culture and all that surrounds it.
