I’m always here for stories that challenge the notions of right and wrong, and I love how this manga continues to explore the idea that not everything is black and white. It’s a recurring theme, but it never feels forced and it only deepens with each volume. I also appreciated that, alongside the overarching story, we got glimpses of character development, no matter how subtle (like Agott’s growth).

My only real complaint is how quickly everything wrapped up in this volume. The pacing felt rushed, and I wish it had the same measured buildup we experienced in earlier arcs. It would have made the resolution feel more impactful.

As for the art, it’s absolutely stunning, as always. Witch Hat Atelier remains one of the most visually creative manga I’ve ever read. The way it uses panels to tell the story is nothing short of brilliant, and it never fails to impress me.

So much good development in this volume, was surprisingly wholesome! Though of course it still ends on a cliffhanger 😭
