I wasn’t expecting to ugly cry over a book about video gamer creators, yet here we are! The characters are so complex and deep and the story is woven together so intricately. I hardly know anything about video games, but at the heart of this beautiful story is a tale about friendship and humanity. Can’t recommend it enough!!

I was told that you didn't need to be gamer to enjoy the book, but I think you will get more if you are a gamer. There is a string on comparison between games and mentioned on many.

I enjoy the story of friendship, love, grief, work and growth. I did find it a bit slow, and I found myself rushing and skim reading through the second half.
